50TH DRAMA FESTIVAL STARTED IN ALIPURDUAR TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Alipurduar, 15h December, 2015: The 50th Drama Festival started from today at Alipurduar. The festival is jointly organized by the information and cultural department and West Bengal Drama Academy in collaboration with Alipurduar Municipality. The venue of the festival is Maya Talkies Auditorium (McWilliam Institute). The inauguration was done by the eminent dramatist Mr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharya. Apart from him, the other dignitaries present were the District Magistrate Athena Majumdar, NBSTC Chairman Dr. Saurav Chakraborty, the member of West Bengal Drama Academy and Secretary Mr. Debiprasad Chatterjee and others.
